About Blue Gem patterns
Bowie Knife Case Hardened spreads the marbled steel finish across a broad, heavy blade with lots of room for blue to pool. The seed decides how much reaches the play side; the bluest rolls are the Blue Gems.
The guide names seed #182 as the #1 Bowie Blue Gem, with #398 the notable runner-up — the two Tier-1 seeds where blue covers the wide Bowie blade most completely.
